What are my Wi-Fi Options?

There are multiple Wi-Fi Networks (technically called SSIDs) that you may connect to depending upon the situation. Here is a quick description of the networks and related information.

  • EagleNet (for Students, Faculty, Staff)
    • EagleNet is a campus network that can provide internet access for any device for a student, faculty, or staff member.

  • eduroam (for Students, Faculty, Staff, other eduroam clients)
    • This is an SSID that allows campus members and other eduroam clients to access the campus network.
    • If a TN Tech account is having issues accessing another institution's eduroam network, we should be able to assist with the authentication.

  • TTU-Guest (for all visitors to campus)
    • The TTU-Guest network is available for all visitors to campus and does not allow an account to connect.

  • TTU-Devices (IT-managed devices)
    • TTU-Devices is only used in very specific cases and will be set up by the department's IT representative.

 

How do I get help with the Wi-Fi?

To report a problem with any of our Wi-Fi networks, click the Request Service button on the side. Please be ready to provide the following information for speedy resolution:

  • What kind of device you are using
  • The location on campus where you're having the trouble
  • Contact information
  • Which network you are trying to access
  • The MAC Address of the device: How to find your MAC Address

*Guest access can be obtained by connecting to TTU-Guest and registering.
