Basic Information
One of the primary benefits of TechExpress is that it allows access to multiple systems with a single login, a process known as single sign-on (SSO). Systems such as Eagle Online, Canvas, and TechConnect can be accessed simply by clicking their associated icon on the QuickLinks bar.

Eagle (Eagle Online)
Eagle Online is your primary means for accessing your campus records, including personal information, grades and transcripts, financial aid information and offers, and campus employment information. You will also use your Eagle Online to register for classes and modify your schedule.
Mail
This icon opens your campus email account, which is provided via Microsoft Outlook. This account is the primary means of communication on campus, and will be used by professors, advisors, and other university staff, and for official university announcements. You may also access other Microsoft cloud apps here (e.g., Word, Teams, OneDrive), as well as download Microsoft 365 Office for free.
Canvas
Canvas is our online class delivery system. It may be used for both online courses, or as a supplement to in-person courses. Instructors may use Canvas for class discussions, assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams.
Nav360Stu (Navigate360 Student)
Navigate360 Student (was known as TechConnect prior) is designed to help students stay connected, informed, and supported throughout their college journey as a Golden Eagle. Students utilize this platform to connect with campus resources, schedule appointments, receive reminders, explore majors and career paths, request assistance, and access personalized support in one convenient place.
Microsoft Security Info
Use this system to change the multi-factor authentication (MFA) preferences for your account, including changing your authenticator or phone number used for text/call. You can also change your password here.
SelfServe
This Quick Link accesses our primary knowledge base and ticketing system, known as the Self-Service Portal. You can use it to find articles on a wide variety of topics regarding campus technology or submit trouble tickets.
OneDrive
OneDrive is Microsoft’s cloud storage application. It functions similarly to a virtual flash drive, where you can upload and store documents to make them accessible from any device, so long as you can log into your Tech account. All students have storage space on their campus OneDrive account.
Blogs
This Quick Link provides access to Tech Times, the university’s daily newsletter, and President Oldham’s blog.
Teams (Microsoft Teams)
Microsoft Teams is a real-time communication platform that provides both chatroom-like collaboration, video conferencing, and file sharing. You can also download the Microsoft Teams application on your computer for faster collaboration.
EaglePay
EaglePay is the university’s online payment system. You can use it to pay account balances and modify/store payment options, such as credit cards and bank accounts.
DegWork (Degree Works)
Degree Works allows you to monitor your progress toward completing your degree.
Sharepnt (SharePoint)
Microsoft SharePoint is a collaboration platform used to make files and folders available to groups of people to open and edit.
Planner (Schedule Planner)
Schedule Planner allows students to plan and build their class schedule prior to their registration time. You can save your schedule and have it ready to go as soon as your registration time arrives.
EagleCard
This QuickLink opens the eAccounts (Transact) portal, which allows students to check EagleCard and Dining Dollar balances, and print statements. You can also use this portal to deactivate your EagleCard if it is lost or stolen.
Library
This QuickLink opens the Library’s EagleSearch system, an electronic card catalog used to search the Volpe Library’s holdings, both digital and hard copy.
Wellness
Opens the Eagle Wellness Portal, where you can set appointments with Health Services or the Counseling Center, and access immunization records.
ScholrWeb (ScholarWeb)
Opens the ScholarWeb portal, where students can apply for university and private scholarships.
Handshk (Handshake)
Handshake is the university job portal that allows students seeking internships, co-op’s, part-time and full-time jobs to communicate with employers and attend employer related events, such as campus career fairs. Handshake is also the main mode of communication used by the Center for Career Development and how you can request appointments with office staff.
JobPortal (Student Job Portal, JobX)
The Student Job Portal, or JobX, is used by work-study and work scholarship students to apply for job assignments around campus.
CampLabs (Campus Labs)
Students will use Campus Labs at the end of the semester to complete course evaluations.
LinkedIn (LinkedIn Learning)
Opens LinkedIn Learning, a vast library of video courses on a wide variety of subjects available for free to all Tennessee Tech students currently enrolled in classes. You will have an option to link this account to your primary LinkedIn account, if you have one.
Poll (Poll Everywhere)
Poll Everywhere is a platform for conducting real-time polling and surveys. It may also be used by some instructors for quizzes.
