How to Connect to eduroam (Wi-Fi) for University-Managed Devices

Summary

This is a guide for faculty and staff to utilize eduroam on a university owned device.

Body

Overview

eduroam provides a worldwide Wi-Fi network for faculty and staff at more than 30,000 participating locations. The additional security and ease of use make it an ideal choice over traditional guest and open access networks when visiting a participating institution.

Because connection issues are more easily resolved on the local campus, all members of the Tennessee Tech community are encouraged to configure and access eduroam on the Tennessee Tech campus before traveling and using eduroam at another participating institution.

This page describes the current status of connecting Tennessee Tech-managed devices to eduroam. Please see How to Connect to eduroam (Wi-Fi) for Personally Owned Devices to set up personally owned devices, including phones and tablets.

If you have any issues connecting your university-owned device to the eduroam network, please submit a Wi-Fi service request.
