Overview
There are two different methods for accessing a shared inbox. Which method you use depends on if you prefer to access your email through the Desktop application or through Tech Express.
Accessing your email through the Desktop application
If you generally view your email by clicking this icon located at the bottom of your screen:
Then you'll be able to see your new inbox located under your folders for your regular TN Tech email:
If you aren't seeing the new mailbox in that list, make sure it has been longer than 24 hours since you received access, give your computer a restart, and check again.
Accessing your email through TechExpress
If you access your email by opening up Tech Express and clicking the Mail quicklink:
Or access it in any way by using an internet browser, you'll need to open your inbox like you usually would, and locate and click on your initials in the top right corner:
You'll then see a box with your name, email, and some links. Click the one that says Open another Mailbox
Then, in the next box, start typing the name of the inbox you want to access. Select it, click Open, and it will open your shared mailbox in a new tab for you so you can still see the emails sent to your TN Tech inbox
