Printing, Stapling, and Hole Punching on a Windows Machine

Overview

In this article, you will learn how to find and select the correct printer, how to have your print job stapled or hole punched, and how to accept the charges for your print job using a Windows machine.

Step 1 - Choose The Correct Printer

At a TnTech computer, click the Print button or option to load a print dialog box from your downloaded file. From the printer listing, choose TnTech General Print Queue.

If you need your document single-sided, stapled, or hole-punched, proceed to Step 2! Otherwise, click Print & skip to Step 3.

The sample image below shows a dialog box with a highlight around where you might make the selection. Remember some programs will show a different style box, but the choices should be similar.

Step 2 - Staple | Hole Punch (Optional)

At the computer, with the Print dialog box still open, click on Print using system dialog.

On the new pop-up window, make sure the correct printer is selected and click More settings.

Stapling: To staple, select the Staple option.

Hole Punch: To hole punch, select the Hole Punch option.

When you’re finished making finishing changes, click OK.

Then click Print if you have no other changes to make. Proceed to Step 3.

Step 3 - Review & Print

At the computer, after clicking Print and head to the printer of your choice. After you scan your Eagle Card/Mobile Credential, a prompt will have you accept charges for each job you want to print.

Remember if your current balance is $0.00, or the job you want to print would exceed the limit you have, you will not be able to print.
